Biography
Leftfield are a London electronic group formed in 1989 by Neil Barnes and Paul Daley, key architects of progressive house. After remix work and singles on their #Hard Hands# label, their 1995 debut 'Leftism' blended house, dub and techno with guest vocalists including *John Lydon* and *Toni Halliday*, and became a landmark British dance album. 'Rhythm and Stealth' reached number one in 1999. When Barnes revived the name in 2010 Daley did not return, and Barnes has continued Leftfield alone since then.
