Lemoncello

Lemoncello is an Irish alternative folk duo composed of Laura Quirke and Claire Kinsella. Formed while studying at Maynooth University, the pair are known for their intimate and enigmatic sound, which pairs Quirke's cyclical guitar and lead vocals with Kinsella's cello arrangements and vocal harmonies. Their music often explores personal observations and uncomfortable questions, creating a sound described as both soothing and challenging. After releasing their debut EP 'Stuck Upon the Staircase' in 2018, they garnered national radio play and performed at various Irish festivals. In 2024, they signed with the iconic #Claddagh Records# for their self-titled debut album, produced by Julie McLarnon.
