Oil and Water

Produced during a transitional period for the ensemble, this second EP demonstrates a move toward more expansive and atmospheric soundscapes. The recordings utilize natural room acoustics to enhance the resonance of the cello and the intimacy of the vocal performances. Lyrically, the project addresses the tension between contrasting elements and the preservation of personal identity within shifting social dynamics.
