Biography
Italian band formed in Rome in 1973, unusually signed by the American #Motown# label. Libra's debut 'Musica e parole' (1975) blended melodic rock with jazz rock and funk, and an American tour and the funkier 'Winter Day's Nightmare' (1976) followed. A last line-up recorded the *Goblin* influenced soundtrack 'Schock' (1977) for Mario Bava's film before the band split. Singer Federico D'Andrea died in a road accident in 1978.
