Biography
Electronic producer Matt Cutler from Nottingham, recording as Lone. From the hip-hop-tinged 'Lemurian' (2008) through the #R&S Records# albums 'Galaxy Garden' (2012) and 'Reality Testing' (2014) to 'Always Inside Your Head' (2021), his music pairs rave energy and breakbeats with luminous, nostalgic melody. His records balance club functionality with headphone listening, and he remains a touchstone for melodic, rave-inflected UK electronic music.
