Biography
Love Sculpture were a Cardiff blues rock trio active from 1966 to 1970, led by Dave Edmunds with John David and Rob 'Congo' Jones. On #Parlophone# they mixed blues standards with classical pieces played at rock speed, scoring a UK No. 5 hit in 1968 with 'Sabre Dance'. Their two albums are 'Blues Helping' (1968) and 'Forms and Feelings' (1969). A short-lived 1970 expansion added a second guitarist and a new drummer before the band split and Edmunds went solo.
