Biography
Luis Alberto Spinetta (1950-2012) was an Argentine singer-songwriter and guitarist regarded as the founding figure of Argentine rock. He led Almendra, Pescado Rabioso, Invisible and Spinetta Jade, moving from psychedelic songcraft through hard rock to jazz fusion, and made 'Artaud' (1973), widely considered the greatest album in Argentine rock.
