Biography
Luxuria were a British duo of Howard Devoto, formerly of *Buzzcocks* and *Magazine*, and instrumentalist Noko, the stage name of Norman Fisher-Jones, formed in 1987 after the pair met through *Pete Shelley*. Signed to #Beggars Banquet#, they released two studio albums, 'Unanswerable Lust' in 1988 and 'Beast Box' in 1990, blending post-punk, synth-pop and Devoto's sardonic, literate lyric writing, before splitting in 1990 when neither record met commercial expectations.
