Biography
Brooklyn hip hop duo of rappers Billy Danze and Lil' Fame, childhood friends from Brownsville who formed M.O.P. (Mash Out Posse) in 1992. Their shouted, confrontational delivery over *DJ Premier* and DR Period production built a cult following through 'To the Death' (1994) and 'Firing Squad' (1996), and 'Ante Up' from 'Warriorz' (2000) became a worldwide anthem of hardcore New York rap. Shelved major-label albums slowed but never stopped the duo, whose two-man line-up has never changed.
