Biography
Macabre is a Chicago extreme metal trio formed in 1985 and still comprising its three founders: Corporate Death (guitar, vocals), Nefarious (bass, vocals) and Dennis The Menace (drums). Their self-styled 'murder metal' mixes thrash, death metal and grindcore with folk melodies and gallows humour, and their albums, notably 'Sinister Slaughter' (1993) and 'Dahmer' (2000), are concept works about real serial killers.
