Biography
Magnum are a melodic hard rock band from Birmingham, England, formed in 1972 around singer Bob Catley and guitarist-songwriter Tony Clarkin. Albums such as 'Chase the Dragon' (1982), 'On a Storyteller's Night' (1985) and 'Wings of Heaven' (1988) made them one of Britain's most durable rock acts. Reformed in 2001 after a six-year split, the band continued recording until Clarkin's death in 2024, and Catley has since led tribute performances.
