Biography

Mägo de Oz is a Spanish folk metal band formed in Madrid in 1988 by drummer Txus di Fellatio. The group fuses heavy metal with Celtic and traditional folk, led by violin and flute, and is known for literary concept albums and rock operas including 'La Leyenda de la Mancha', 'Finisterra' and the 'Gaia' trilogy. Anthems such as 'Fiesta Pagana' and 'Molinos de Viento' made the band a benchmark of Spanish rock across Spain and Latin America, with Txus the sole constant member through decades of line-up changes.
