Biography
M谩quina! was a psychedelic and progressive rock band from Barcelona, Spain, active from 1969 to 1972 and founded by Jordi Batiste and Enric Herrera. Their 1970 debut 'Why?', released on #Di谩bolo#, is a landmark of Spanish progressive rock, mixing English lyrics, extended Hammond organ improvisation and acid fuzz guitars beneath a surreal croissant and clock sleeve. A later, brass augmented lineup turned to jazz rock for the live 'En Directo' in 1972 before the band dissolved amid disputes that same year.
