Biography
MFSB was the Philadelphia International Records house band, a large session collective assembled by *Kenneth Gamble* and *Leon Huff* in 1971. Their orchestral arrangements defined the Philly soul sound on records by *The O'Jays* and *Teddy Pendergrass*, while their own albums 'MFSB' and 'Love Is the Message' and the 1974 number one 'TSOP (The Sound of Philadelphia)' made them stars in their own right and pioneers of disco. The group disbanded in 1985.
