Biography
Mi Ami is a San Francisco band formed in 2006 by Daniel Martin-McCormick and Damon Palermo, both formerly circling the *Black Eyes* hardcore scene, with bassist Jacob Long completing the trio in 2007. The band fuses dub, disco, gamelan and free jazz repetition with punk intensity on 'Watersports' (2009) for #Quarterstick# and 'Steal Your Face' (2010) for #Thrill Jockey#. After Long left, the founders continued as an electronics based duo.
