Biography
Mother's Finest, founded in Atlanta in 1970 by Joyce Kennedy, Glenn Murdock, Gary Moore and Jerry Seay, pioneered a blend of funk, soul and hard rock as a prominent interracial band. Their #Epic Records# albums of the late 1970s, including 'Another Mother Further' and 'Mother Factor', produced 'Baby Love' and 'Love Changes' and powered a formidable live reputation in the United States and Europe. Re formed in 1989 after a hiatus, the band continued recording and touring for decades, with 'Black Radio Won't Play This Record' and later albums sustaining a loyal following.
