Biography
Moving Gelatine Plates were a French progressive rock band from Sartrouville, formed in 1968 by Didier Thibault and Gérard Bertram. With Gérard Pons and Maurice Helmlinger, the quartet played jazz-influenced experimental rock often compared to the Canterbury scene, releasing two albums on #CBS# in 1971 and 1972 before splitting over poor sales. Thibault later revived the group for 'Moving' in 1980 and again for 'Removing' in 2006, the only constant member across all four albums.
