Biography
Electronic project of Oakland composer Lauren Bousfield, launched in 2005 and named for the collapse of consumer paradise. Nero's Day at Disneyland collides breakcore, sacred music, opera scraps and piano into maximalist theme-park nightmares on 'Attention Shoppers' (2005) and the cult album 'From Rotting Fantasylands' (2009). Dormant for nearly seventeen years while Bousfield recorded under her own name, the project returned in 2026 with the 'Grand Reopening' EP.
