Biography
Nightingale is an Örebro band formed by Dan Swanö in the mid-1990s as a melodic, gothic-tinged counterpart to his death metal work. With brother Dag Swanö, Erik Oskarsson and Tom Björn, the band has recorded from 'The Breathing Shadow' (1995) to 'Nightfall Overture' (2024), playing progressive, 1970s-rooted hard rock with a melancholic cast. The project remains Dan Swanö's principal vehicle for melodic rock alongside his production work.
