Biography
Omar-S, born Alexander Omar Smith, is a Detroit house and techno producer and the founder of #FXHE Records#. A DJ since his teens, he released his first record in 2001 and built a cult reputation for raw, soulful productions issued with almost no promotion. His albums include 'Just Ask the Lonely', 'It Can Be Done But Only I Can Do It', 'Thank You for Letting Me Be Myself', 'The Best!' and 'You Want'. His sound joins Chicago house rhythms to Detroit techno atmosphere and deep, emotional chords.
