Biography
Pain of Truth is a Long Island hardcore band formed in 2020 by vocalist Michael Smith. Built from lockdown demos crowded with scene guests, the group's debut 'Not Through Blood' (2023) and its 2026 self-titled follow-up made them leaders of the new New York hardcore wave. Their records deliberately platform guests from across generations of hardcore, treating collaboration as a statement of scene unity.
