Biography
Argentine blues-rock band led by guitarist and singer Norberto “Pappo” Napolitano, formed in Buenos Aires in 1970. The original trio with David Lebón and Black Amaya began a run of seven numbered albums in 1971 that made Pappo's Blues a cornerstone of rock nacional, with a constantly revolving line-up around its leader. The band folded after a 1980 farewell concert, briefly returned in the 1990s for two more albums, and ended with Pappo's death in 2005.
