Patrick Carney

Patrick Carney is an American musician and producer, best known as the drummer for the Grammy Award-winning blues rock duo The Black Keys. Alongside guitarist and vocalist *Dan Auerbach*, Carney co-founded the band in Akron, Ohio, in 2001. His powerful, minimalist drumming style is a cornerstone of the band's raw, garage rock sound, which propelled albums like 'Brothers' and 'El Camino' to international success. Beyond The Black Keys, Carney is a prolific producer, operating from his Audio Eagle studio in Nashville and shaping the sound of artists such as *Michelle Branch*, *The Sheepdogs*, and *Tennis*. He also explores different musical avenues through side projects, including the bands *Drummer* and *Sad Planets*.
