Biography
American doom metal pioneers formed in Alexandria, Virginia, in 1971, fronted throughout by Bobby Liebling. Pentagram spent the 1970s as an underground demo band before releasing 'Pentagram' in 1985, and albums such as 'Day of Reckoning', 'Be Forewarned', 'Last Rites' and 'Curious Volume' made them one of doom metal's most influential and enduring cult acts. Their story was documented in the acclaimed 2011 film Last Days Here, which followed Liebling's troubled life.
