Biography
Perfume are a Japanese electropop trio from Hiroshima, formed in 2000 and consisting since that year of Ayaka Nishiwaki, Yuka Kashino and Ayano ÅŒmoto. Produced by *Yasutaka Nakata*, the group broke through with the single 'Polyrhythm' in 2007 and topped the Oricon album chart with 'Game' (2008). Precise choreography and a futuristic technopop sound carried later albums including 'Triangle', 'Level3', 'Cosmic Explorer' and 'Future Pop'. The trio announced a cold sleep hiatus from 2026, promising to return.
