Biography
PoiL is an avant-prog trio from Lyon, France, formed in 2005 by Antoine Arnera (keyboards), Boris Cassone (bass) and Guilhem Meier (drums), all three also singing. Its albums 'Brossaklitt' (2014) and 'Sus' (2019), the latter setting Occitan poetry, mix punk drive, zeuhl and chamber-music precision. The trio is a core act of the #Dur et Doux# collective. Its concerts are known for frantic, tightly choreographed playing.
