Biography
Propagandhi are a Winnipeg punk band formed in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, in 1986 by Chris Hannah and Jord Samolesky. Beginning in skate punk, they developed a heavier, thrash-influenced melodic hardcore sound across albums such as 'How to Clean Everything' (1993), 'Today's Empires, Tomorrow's Ashes' (2001) and 'Victory Lap' (2017). With bassist Todd Kowalski and guitarist Sulynn Hago completing the lineup, their lyrics attack capitalism, racism, homophobia and organized religion, and promote veganism and animal rights. Their eighth studio album, 'At Peace', appeared in 2025 on #Epitaph Records#.
