Biography
Prostitute is an American noise rock band from Dearborn, Michigan, formed in 2020. The band was founded by vocalist Moe Kazra and drummer Andrew Kaster, who write the group's lyrics together, and is completed by guitarists Ross Babinski and Bret Wall and bassist Dylan Zaranski, all of them raised in Dearborn. Prostitute self-released a debut album, 'Attempted Martyr', in October 2024. Built around a character study of a crazed zealot and drawing on Kazra's experience of anti-Arab xenophobia after 9/11, the album was produced by *Chris Koltay* and praised by Pitchfork and The Quietus for its polished, confrontational sound. In December 2025 the band signed to #Mute Records#, which reissued 'Attempted Martyr' in March 2026 ahead of the band's first European tour.
