Biography
Radian are an Austrian experimental trio from Vienna, formed in 1996 by Martin Brandlmayr, Stefan Németh and John Norman. Blending drums, bass, vibraphone, guitar and heavy digital editing, they make live instruments sound like exacting electronic music. After early records on #Rhiz#, they joined #Thrill Jockey# for 'Rec.extern', 'Juxtaposition' and 'Chimeric'. Guitarist Martin Siewert replaced Németh in 2011, debuting on 'On Dark Silent Off' and continuing on 'Distorted Rooms'.
