Biography
Randy Travis is an American country and gospel singer from Marshville, North Carolina, and the defining voice of the neotraditional country movement. His 1986 debut 'Storms of Life' and the follow-up 'Always & Forever' made his rich baritone the sound of a generation of country hits, most of them written for him by Nashville's leading songwriters. A stroke in 2013 severely limited his speech and singing; he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2016.
