Biography
Red Lorry Yellow Lorry is a Leeds post-punk band formed in 1981 around singer and guitarist Chris Reed and guitarist Dave Wolfenden. Albums such as 'Talk About the Weather' (1985) and 'Paint Your Wagon' (1986) for #Red Rhino Records# made them UK independent chart regulars, built on drum machine rhythms, throbbing bass and Reed's cavernous voice. After two albums for #Situation Two# and a 1991 split, Reed reformed the band in 2003; their final album 'Strange Kind of Paradise' appeared in 2025.
