Biography
French singer-songwriter from Paris whose slang-filled, tender chansons made him one of France's most popular artists. After the breakthrough 'Laisse b茅ton' (1977), albums such as 'Mistral gagnant' (1985) and 'Putain de camion' (1988) gave him a string of classics, and after years lost to alcoholism his comeback album 'Renaud' (2016) returned him to the top of the French charts. He also saluted *Georges Brassens* with an album of his songs.
