Biography
Rivers Cuomo is the lead vocalist, guitarist, and principal songwriter of the influential alternative rock band Weezer. Born in New York City and raised in various spiritual communities, his unique upbringing shaped his introspective and often quirky songwriting style. After moving to Los Angeles, he formed Weezer in 1992, achieving massive success with their debut 'Weezer (The Blue Album)' on #Geffen Records#. Despite the initial commercial failure of the now-classic album 'Pinkerton', Cuomo has guided the band through a decades-long career. He is also a prolific solo artist, having released several compilations of home recordings, such as 'Alone: The Home Recordings of Rivers Cuomo', and has collaborated with a diverse range of artists including *B.o.B* and *AJR*.
