Biography
English blues-rock guitarist from Catford, London, who played with *Procol Harum* in the late 1960s before leading his own trio to success with 'Bridge of Sighs' (1974). His spacious, Hendrix-indebted Stratocaster sound powered a long solo career, including later collaborations with *Jack Bruce*. He has released albums steadily for five decades, and 'Bridge of Sighs' was reissued in an expanded edition for its fiftieth anniversary in 2024.
