Biography
Swedish melodic death metal band from Avesta, formed in 2004 and signed to #Nuclear Blast#. Scar Symmetry built their sound on the contrast between harsh and clean vocals over progressive, melodic guitar work, first with singer Christian 脛lvestam on 'Symmetric in Design' (2005) and 'Holographic Universe' (2008), then with the two singer team of Roberth Karlsson and Lars Palmqvist from 'Dark Matter Dimensions' (2009) onward, guitarist Per Nilsson leading the later concept albums 'The Singularity (Phase I: Neohumanity)' (2014) and 'The Singularity (Phase II: Xenotaph)' (2023).
