Biography
Show Me the Body is a New York City trio that has been a formidable force in the underground since its formation in 2009. Known for a volatile and unclassifiable sound, the band blends hardcore punk, industrial noise, sludge metal, and hip-hop. The core lineup consists of Julian Cashwan Pratt on vocals and a distinctively distorted banjo, and Harlan Steed on bass and synthesizers. Their ethos is deeply tied to their home city, often forgoing traditional venues for DIY spaces and fostering a community through their #Corpus# collective. After early EPs, their debut album 'Body War' arrived in 2016, followed by acclaimed works like 'Dog Whistle' and 'Trouble the Water' on the #Loma Vista Recordings# label.
