Biography
Shuggie Otis is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, son of bandleader *Johnny Otis*. His three #Epic Records# albums of the early 1970s, above all 'Inspiration Information' (1974), were rediscovered as psychedelic soul classics, and his song 'Strawberry Letter 23' became a number one R&B hit for *The Brothers Johnson*. Otis returned to live performance in the 2010s after decades out of the spotlight.
