Biography

Sk谩phe began in Philadelphia in 2014 as the solo black metal project of Alex Poole, who played every instrument on the debut album 'Sk谩phe' for #Fallen Empire Records#. Icelandic singer D.G. of *Mis镁yrming* joined for 'Sk谩phe虏' in 2016, and the duo completed a loose trilogy with 'Sk谩phe鲁' on #Myst铆skaos# in 2020. Their records mix dissonant and atmospheric black metal with noise, psychedelia and avant-garde metal, using untitled tracks and overwhelming reverb to create a sound that feels unstable, cavernous and ritualistic.
