Biography
Snapped Ankles are a London post-punk band formed in 2011 whose members perform anonymously in ghillie suits, claiming to be forest folk descended from the trees. Their music fuses motorik rhythms, synthesisers, performance art and satirical lyrics about modern life. Signed to #The Leaf Label#, they have released four albums, from 'Come Play the Trees' in 2017 to 'Hard Times Furious Dancing' in 2025, while never publicly revealing who is inside the costumes.
