Biography
SND are a Sheffield electronic duo, Mark Fell and Mat Steel, formed in 1998. Pioneers of digital minimalism and the clicks and cuts sound, they released 'MakeSND Cassette', 'stdio' and 'Tender Love' on #Mille Plateaux#, building techno and garage rhythms from clicks, tones and silence. After a quieter period they returned with 'Atavism' on #Raster-Noton# in 2009. The stored member list naming *Secret Chiefs 3* musicians was wrong-act contamination and has been replaced with the duo itself.
