Biography
So Hideous is a New York band formed in 2008 by Brandon and Christopher Cruz and Etienne Vazquez, fusing post-metal and black metal with live orchestral arrangements. Albums for #Prosthetic#, from 'Last Poem/First Light' (2013) to 'None but a Pure Heart Can Sing' (2021), pursue a widescreen, cinematic heaviness. Live, the band performs with string and brass players, reproducing the records' orchestral scale on stage whenever the setting allows.
