Biography
Sonny Boy Williamson II, born Aleck 'Rice' Miller, was an American blues harmonica player and singer who took his name from an earlier Chicago bluesman and surpassed him in fame. Star of Helena's *King Biscuit Time* radio show, he cut defining sides for #Trumpet Records# and #Checker Records#, including 'Don't Start Me Talkin'', 'Nine Below Zero' and 'Help Me', and his Chess-era albums 'Down and Out Blues' and 'The Real Folk Blues' remain cornerstones of electric blues.
