Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released shortly following the immensely influential harmonica player's death, this collection is heavily focused on previously unissued sessions from the early 1960s. The album vividly captures his remarkably wry, often cynical lyrical perspective and astonishingly expressive instrumental technique. Featuring a stellar backing band that often included Buddy Guy, the record stands as a deeply poignant final testament to his supreme mastery of the Chicago electric blues.
