Biography
Squeeze are an English pop rock band formed in London in 1974 by Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook, the group's constant songwriting partnership. Their best-known albums, 'Cool for Cats' (1979), 'Argybargy' (1980) and 'East Side Story' (1981), pair Difford's observational lyrics with Tilbrook's melodic gift. Reunited in 2007, the band continues to tour and record. Difford and Tilbrook have also recorded as a duo outside the band.
