Biography
Storefront Church is the Los Angeles-based musical project of Lukas Frank, known for its dark, cinematic, and atmospheric sound. Drawing from post-punk, slowcore, and gothic rock, the music is often described as melancholic and grandly orchestrated. After a history as a touring drummer for artists like *Phoebe Bridgers* and *Portugal. The Man*, Frank launched the project with a self-titled EP in 2017. The full-length debut, 'As We Pass', was released in 2021 on #Sargent House# and featured a collaboration with *DIIV*'s *Zachary Cole Smith*. A second album, 'Ink & Oil', followed in 2024, continuing the project's exploration of surreal and emotionally resonant themes.
