Biography
Knoxville, Tennessee power pop band Superdrag formed in 1992 around John Davis, Brandon Fisher, Tom Pappas and Don Coffey Jr. Their #Elektra Records# debut 'Regretfully Yours' (1996) produced the MTV hit 'Sucked Out', but the lavish follow-up 'Head Trip in Every Key' (1998) stalled commercially. Bassist Sam Powers replaced Pappas for two further albums before a 2003 hiatus; the original four reunited for 'Industry Giants' (2009) and again in the 2020s, sustaining a devoted cult following.
