Biography
The Adicts are an English punk band from Ipswich, Suffolk, formed in late 1975 and fronted by Keith "Monkey" Warren. Dressed as the droogs from *A Clockwork Orange*, with Warren in joker make-up, they pair melodic, uptempo punk with carnival stage shows. 'Songs of Praise', 'Sound of Music' and the anthem 'Viva la Revolution' made them indie-chart fixtures, and they remain active after more than four decades.
