Biography
The Appleseed Cast is an American emo and post-rock band based in Lawrence, Kansas, formed in 1997 and led by singer and guitarist Christopher Crisci, its only constant member. The band moved from the intense emo of 'The End of the Ring Wars' (1998) toward atmospheric post-rock on 'Mare Vitalis' (2000) and 'Low Level Owl' (2001). Later albums include 'Peregrine' (2006), 'Sagarmatha' (2009), 'Illumination Ritual' (2013) and, with the current lineup of Crisci, Sean Bergman, Ben Kimball and Nick Fredrickson, 'The Fleeting Light of Impermanence' (2019).
