Biography
The Armed is an anonymous experimental hardcore collective from Detroit, Michigan, formed in 2009. Known for its rotating and often secret lineup, the group blends punk, metal, noise, and pop into a chaotic, maximalist sound. Initially operating in obscurity and using misdirection, the band has evolved while working with producers like *Kurt Ballou*. Their albums, including the acclaimed 'ULTRAPOP' and 'Perfect Saviors', released via #Sargent House#, showcase a dense, genre-defying style. Core figures like Tony Wolski have recently become more public, but the project's focus remains on a collective identity that prioritizes the art over individual personalities.
