Biography
The Association is an American pop band formed in Los Angeles in 1965 by Terry Kirkman, Jules Alexander, Russ Giguere, Brian Cole, Ted Bluechel Jr. and Jim Yester, former members of *The Men*. Built on intricate harmonies from multiple singers, the group hit in 1966 with 'Along Comes Mary' and 'Cherish', then, with Larry Ramos replacing Alexander, reached number one with 'Windy' and number two with 'Never My Love' from 'Insight Out'. The Association opened the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival and still performs today under Alexander and Yester.
